The Edina Lions Club is a member of the International Association of Lions Clubs which consist of 25,000 Lions Clubs in over 150 countries or geographical locations on six continents, with a total membership well in excess of one million members. It is the largest, most active and most representative service club organization <B>IN THE WORLD! </B></div> <bR> <div> Originally chartered as the Edina Morningside Lions Club on June 4th, 1946, <IMG SRC="05871700.gif" border=0 width="113" height="112" ALIGN="RIGHT" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">The Edina Lions Club has been serving the area of Edina, Minnesota for over 55 years. In addition to supporting Lions International goals of helping the sight and hearing impaired, the Edina Lions Club is also dedicated to supporting community projects! Supporting numerous youth programs, donating equipment to the Edina Fire and Police Departments, and supporting community activities such as the Edina Community Theater, providing Picnic Equipment for area parks and furnishing the "ART" wall in the Edina Library.
